Web Design Process
Introduction – Let’s talk! We’ll start by discussing your business goals and what your website needs to do to achieve them. I ask all potential clients to fill out my Website Enquiry form, the answers provided will help me determine if my skills and availability match your requirements and budget.
Quote & Timescales – Once I have a full understanding of your project requirements, expectations and budget I will provide a Website Design Proposal which will include my quote and timescales.
Book It In! – Great! Once you have accepted my Website Design Proposal and Terms of Business I will send over my invoice for the 50% deposit, once this payment has been received I will book the project into my diary.
Design Specifications – Here’s the fun bit! We’ll discuss design ideas, websites you like, colours, typography, imagery and more to give me a full understanding of your business and the message you’d like to send to your visitors. I’ll send over a questionnaire to kick start the discussion.
Content Please! – I will request the content (including text and imagery) you wish me to include for all the pages on your website.
Design Phase – I’ll get started on creating a mock up of your website Homepage which reflect the ideas we discussed. This will be provided via email as a static image. I’ll invite your feedback and we’ll work through any required changes to get everything just right.
Development Phase – Once you have signed off the design, I will get started on development the live version of your website on a test server. This will include the creation of all other website pages. I will provide a link to allow you to view, click, and play around with your site, before inviting your feedback. Again, we’ll work through any required changes.
Testing & Launch! – After I’ve made all the required changes I will run through a testing phase to ensure the website works well on the latest browsers and devices. Once everyone is happy, I’ll deploy your new website onto a server of your choice. If required, I can also provide training videos which will guide you on how to use your Content Management System to update your website content.
How is everything? – I like to check back after launch to see how everything is going. This will give you an opportunity to ask me questions about your website, such as updating it or perhaps how to drive more traffic to it. It’s great to keep our relationship going beyond launch. After all, we’ve shared the experience of creating something together![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”full_width_background” bg_color=”#279fd3″ scene_position=”center” text_color=”light” text_align=”center” top_padding=”30″ bottom_padding=”30″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]
